Also, we're using Logic Pro X in our Radio Broadcasting class now. I'm really excited. I'm actually liking it so far, and I can't wait to learn more. We're actually using it, so after the weekend, I'll try to post a wip or something.

In other news, it hailed today.

So, I gotta do a genre assignment for Music Production. They gave us some genres to pick from, but my right ear is inflamed or something, because it's been aching since I got up, so I'm doing reggae. It hurts less to listen to :L

So are you making Reggae, or are you researching and/or doing some kind of project on Reggae?

Genre history. Like, it's roots, influences, how it began, where it's headed what genres it influenced etc etc. Basically I just gotta listen to some reggae, pick apart how it works musically, do some research about those things I just mentioned and write it into an essay with Havard AGPS referencing. So far I've listened to 30 minutes of a mix on youtube and gotten about half a page of bullet points from that and a little history thanks to google. I'm gonna have a look through one of my textbooks to see what it has while I'm at it.

Just reading the word "essay" gets me a headache and a heavy stomach.

Oh, right, so I gotta wait two more weeks until I can FINALLY catch up on MLP episodes that I've missed.
And I believe it are quite a few that I've missed.

I have to fully mix (and master for distinction grade) a track/song by Friday for a college project. I have to use Logic Pro for it. I don't own a Mac, and I have very very little free time at college. We also have Reaper, Ableton, Reason and Cubase (I think) at college, but we have to use Logic rather than our own DAWs so we get competent with as many DAWs as possible. That's a fine reason, but we've been using Logic as the standard DAW for two years now. So I have one week to mix something, on a DAW I have no access to, for no good reason at all.

I'm so pissed off.

What seriously? That is so not fair.
To help you get stuff done though, would you be able to run Logic on VirtualBox on your Windows?

On a different subject, I finally found someone to accompany me to N.O.R.A.D. :D and that while he's practically my closest irl friend atm and I didn't even think about going with him before (because I kinda forgot that he enjoys this kind of music now).

I agree. I used to dig ditches before. If you wore gloves, you'd get pelted with mud. (Not to mention, those work gloves never fit anybody)

I don't wear gloves because all the gloves at my house don't fit. Seriously, you new to be the green giant from that green beam company to actually fit in one of those. And also, they are all at least 7 years old and some are 10+ years old so they are all stuff into odd positions like deformed algae. So, yea. Plus, I opt to not wear gloves so that eventually this will be nothing for my hands. I know it's already nothing for the rest fun body swing that I am nt sore at all because I'm used to working. I just need my hands to catch up.
