Does Anyone know how to make visual sound waves for music

Hello, I've been posting music on my youtube channel and I want to improve my videos. Does anyone know how to make animated sound waves and put them in videos, like this.



I would appreciate if you could help me.

Adobe After Effects will do this and is how most people do it.

yeah usually the audio spectrum visualizer in after effects. I'm an after effects expert so I can help you with pretty much anything you need

I painstakingly color them in myself using MS Paint. Can't afford any of that fancy AfterAdobe or whatever.

Yeah, just like other people are saying. Use Effects AfterAdobe to get the waveforms moving.

And another trick of the trade is to use the convert audio to keyframes tool to your advantage.

That's how I get the bouncing characters in all my videos

I reckon it'd be awesome to have a stop motion of it done in pencil just putting that out there, but otherwise, after effects and the like are useful. I don't know much else.

Oh man, I saw a really cool music video a while back that had stop motion EQ and waveform visuals. With legos or something, not on paper. I wonder if I can find it...

Edit: Nope, can't find it, but just wanted to add this. If you're not up for learning After Effects, you might be able to find someone else to make your visuals if you ask around. Should be a few people willing to help out.

Last I checked they had a student discount that takes off like 80% of the price, though I can't find it now so I don't know if they still offer it. Adobe's been going the bullshit "cloud" route and is promoting the hell out of their subscription service because apparently their prices weren't ridiculous enough already.

I used to have a template setup that let you do something along the lines of this video:

Really wish I'd kept better track of it. It's all just after effects, and if you find a tutorial it's simple enough, provided you have the software.
