Well, I must say that this EqD staff member doesn't represent the site well. Sure, that 'song' is plain bad (vocals are cool and if this was made as a joke song, bravo), but it doesn't mean he or she should use such language. And no, I don't disagree with that person - I disagree with the tone and the way things were said.

I censored some stuff.

When i saw the tumblr post on this song that was kind of ripping it to shreds intially it seemed uncalled for but then i read it fully (that again they didn't eq it well, that they seemed to just want the popularity, that they don't work on improving their tracks with critique) and comments in here that they are trying to pass of pino songs off....yeah nothing's worse than putting out a song that whiny, attention getting, badly done, and then immediately disowning it. I mean trolling accomplished and yeah we feel ur pain about EQD but just try harder and get better before complaining about it all.

I'd say that he needs prelisteners not in the fandom to review. I do that with all my songs. And it's no big deal to get on EQD. Just shoot for higher quality songs and someone WILL post it.

He got more views than a song I did that actually got on EQD.

There's an obvious formula here relating controversy to visibility; maybe if he was the one calling everyone a piece of shit he'd be swimming in pools of imaginary money.

I never had much motive to get on EQD. I mean, sure, it'd be nice if it happened, humanly, getting some attention for your work always sounds nice. But the fact that is hasn't happened/probably won't happen doesn't weigh on my mind.

It's why I don't get some people who obsess over that little EQD post for no good reason. If I get a spot, I'd prefer it to be without a conscious effort to get on EQD. I'd probably appreciate it more that way.

Hello there, sorry I didn't reply sooner I actually didn't know this thread existed...

But yes this song was made entirely as a joke (lyrically speaking) but if there was a sense of realism it's because it was actually drawing on my feelings after getting rejected, and to be quite honest I don't like being rejected one bit...

But instead of letting that get me down I decided to write a song about it (albeit a parody) so that I can enjoy myself, because I enjoy myself when I make music...

Also the lyrics itself says, "This song is random..." I thought that it would make it all the more obvious that this was a joke or maybe even the description saying "just another lame song..." would've done it...

But I apologize if this song offended any of you and I will never make another joke as long as I live if that amounts to a suitable compensation...
