Alright gentlemen, what is your favorite alcoholic beverage, and how is it mixed?

Personally, I am a simple man. I enjoy a few ounces of Grey Goose vodka and Tropicana orange juice. I DESPISE Jack Daniels, however. In fact, most dark liquors are a no-no for me.

I would like to try some of those pony mixes though, if I ever bother to gather the ingredients. You know the ones I'm talking about.

Goombay Smash

1 shot Coconut Rum (Standard 40 proof. Do not go full 90 proof. You WILL regret it!)
1 shot Spiced Rum (Standard 90 proof.)
1/2 shot Apricot Brandy
Pineapple and Orange Juice

Only place I know that makes these is down in the Bahamas. Be forewarned though, you do not taste the alcohol...at all, yet each drink is nearly 3 drinks.

It gets its name for a reason, and I'm sure Mogul can testify that it is no drink to be toyed with.

Now that sounds both incredible and insanely potent. Reminds me of the Firefly sweet tea vodka. You have NO IDEA how much you're drinking until you're in the hospital XD

The ONLY time I drank Goombay's w/ 90 proof coconut rum was at a skydiving dropzone for a small after party.

Woke up in the middle of the airfield between the 2 runways in the middle of the night. Tried to stand up, couldn't. Tried again, vomited. Fell over. Rolled in puke. Tried again, rolled in puke again. Ended up crawling back. Passed out on sidewalk. Woke up with 40+ bug bites.

Was hungover, caught a cold, and couldn't sleep for the next 3 days (try sleeping with 40+ bug bites).

Most miserable hangover experience ever.

Totally made a couple jumps the next day while still hungover though.

Mixing vodka and OJ is a big no-no, or any lowering of temperature (percentage) over here in Rostov. That's a quick trip to hangover-land. Favorite drink would probably have to be straight Jagermeister. Second favorite is straight vodka, or maybe a nice Campari and OJ. Can't stomach tequila at all, whiskey is alright though, but not Jack Daniels.

Honestly, the worst hangover I had (tbh, this was after 10 shots of Bacardi and a night-6am of karaoke, barely even partying), was a stomachache and a headache, and even that could be attributed to me not being acclimated to the food over there.

Russia was awesome.

Rum & Coke never fails. I'm mostly a beer guy though. Preferrably stout or porter.

There was one drink that my friend mixed up that was pretty fun. Not sure if he came up with it himself or got it from someone else, but whatever. He called it Green Dragon (which may be awkward since I later looked it up and found that a cannabis extract (or whatever you call it) is called just that).

Anyway, Green Dragon
2 shots Absinthe
1 Shot Vodka
Green Monster energy drink

It varies from time to time, but here are my usual favorites:

Godfather (Amaretto and Scotch on the rocks). Simple, sweet, and manly.

Snake Bite (Yukon Jack and lime juice, shot glass or on the rocks). Usually have this before performances to give me a quick snap of booze and citrus. Sometimes I just use bourbon if I'm feeling super artsy.

Nuts n' Berries (Frangelico's, Chambord, and Baily's, on the rocks). Sweet kentucky-fried christ, this is sweet and tasty. When I'm celebrating or just feeling fruity and fancy, I go for this. Expensive ingredients, but well worth it. Some places call it a Peanut Butter n' Jelly.

Gin + Pineapple juice (regular glass). I prefer Broker's gin, but anything but Tanqueray(sp?) will do nicely.

I can vouch for this mix. Goes down like Glaze over Carrot Top: easy and fast. One of the best mixes I've ever had. Gonna try to mix this once I can get some rum together~

BronyCon ftw~

Considering absinthe is usually 120 proof or more...ouch.

I destroyed about three expensive carpets because my lack of spatial and motor skills last time I tried it. But it's insane that the malibu kicks out the vodka as good as it does haha!

Yeah, it packs a punch ^^ If you've ever taken straight up absinthe shots... yeah =P

However, if you drink it the 'proper' way, with chilled water dripped into the absinthe over a cube of sugar, it goes down real smooth.

This is how I am usually. Except it's Jack and Coke for me. But yeah, I'm mostly a beer drinker these days--predominantly more craft beers too because I'm a beer snob.

I'll occasionally go with a gin and tonic if I'm feeling classy. Granted, I tend to avoid most hard liquor after a particularly rough Halloween party a couple years back....nothing like downing a fifth of Crown Royal (after a few gin and tonics and couple games of beer pong) and singing the Lion King soundtrack while dressed up as Dr. Mario.

I like playing with liquor. Grasshopper (1/3 creme de menthe, 1/3 creme de cacao, & either 1/3 vodka or milk depending on my mood) is my standard.

Working on a "Red Gala" though! 3 layers, with apple, cranberry, and potentially mint! (Green mane, pink coat, green tail.)

Fuzzy navels are my favorite. It's equal parts OJ and peach schnapps. It's really light on alcohol, so sometimes I like to add vodka.

I've also tried a lot of the drinks on this list. I really like the Bourgeoisie, and the Turntable Double Shot.

Just tried the banana nutcase (great!); tomorrow will be the Turntable. The other 4 I definitely want to try will have to wait until my next paycheck (no substitutions: everything must be perfect, and will add to my liquor collection).

I've tried the Banana Nutcase as well. It's probably my third favorite.

I've also tried a Soft Spoken,

and a Party Animal.

Soft Spoken is not my thing, as I'm not a big fan of anise. Party Animal tasted like Strawberry Quik. Which I guess is fitting for Pinkie Pie.

Yes! I have just discovered that V8 Fusion Mango Peach and Grey Goose IS indeed a good combination!

Additionally, wow, some of these combos sound amazing. Definitely going to have to do some re-stocking next weekend!

Well, finally got a decent base for the Red Gala! With the help of whipping cream, soy milk, and vodka, managed to properly get a good coloured green apple beneath a cranberry/grenadine mix, topped off with green apple espuma (ie. green apple whipped cream)!
