Who are your Influences?

Sports, politics, movies, videogames, questionable hobbies, photos from your family vacation, etc. Talk about stuff that isn't ponies or music. But do try to stay on topic and respectful of alternate opinions.

Influences would be Rob Swire, Keith Merrow, Tosin Abasi, Skrillex, Matt Foran, Feed Me and of course Deadmau5. In no particular order, but def Rob Swire at the head. Also, probably more influences, but these are the bigger ones of mine.

I guess my influences would be:

Archie
Deadmau5
Kill The Noise
Klaypex
Knife Party
Mord Fustang
Omnipony
Porter Robinson
Silva Hound
Skrillex
Zedd

These are my main influences, I'm sure all the music I listen to influences the music I create in one way or another :D

Nice job on the cover! If you ever do any others you should totally do "Only Makes me Laugh" or "No One Lives Forever". :D

Nero- OH GOD YES PLEASE MORE. The orchestral with the wubs is wonderful, the entire Welcome Reality Album was a masterpiece.

xCore- such cool sound design, really a top notch guy.

Futret- like electronic orchestra, simply beautiful and dark and crazy and stupid and the smartest thing ever all at the same time.

Neutral Milk Hotel- Holy shit John magnum I want your babies.

Knife Party/Pendulum- Urg sexy goddamn dnb/dubstep. 10/10 would mosh.

Tobbacco (not so much BMSR)- Tobbacco, when he gets away from the weight of BMSR, writes some trully heavy ass ghettoblaster music. He got Beck to sing on two of his tracks, and that was pretty cool.

Justice- Sexy danceable music with heavy ripping bass and enough personal funk and drive to make it stand out.

Boards of Canada- I can't even begin to describe the full effect of Geogaddi. If you listen to that album while really high, you'll start getting panic attacks. Aural tricks, strange and wonderful composition, and a low, drive combined with fuzzy high up pads and natural sounds all create a truly amazing experience.

Everyone on the Bass Culture album, and Circus 1.- because lotsa dnb and brostep. And I like those genres.
