I have decided to end my time here on MLR, really for a few of reasons but the main one being there is little left for me. Being one of the most knowledgeable people here (in a really generalized way with music) has been draining, surprisingly. It is a little egocentric of me to do this so drastically but I need to leave this forum for good for my own well being.. Not that any of this has had any negative effect on my personal life. I am not leaving in any sort of vain, I am only moving on with my life.
It was nice meeting all of you, and for all those I've helped in my time being here I say "No, thank you" teaching something is the best way to truly learn something. If you learned something from me I in-fact learned it better than I had previously known, if that makes any sense.
I'll be hanging around for another day or two for if anyone wants my contact info/or final advice or whatever, PM me and I'll get back to you.
I am very glad for the existence of this forum and hope it will remain alive and well for as long as people need it to be. Now stop reading this and go make music!
You're one of the reasons I stick around this forum, but oh well.
Thank you for everything you've done for us, and good luck with whatever you do in the future. When I move out to Kelowna next year we'll have to meet up for a drink or something.
We never really interacted much but I always valued your presence on this board. I remembering when I first signed up on here seeing you answering questions. Your expertise was one of the reasons I stuck around.
If you ever feel the desire to come back, even just to visit, please do.

I'm very sad to hear about this but i understand your decision and i've seen others meet the same conclusions. I'm glad you took the time to post this vs leaving and not saying anything. Really sad to see more knowledgeable people leave here. Good luck with your next adventure 4th. You will be missed.
4th, I didn't really know you well, but I know you have helped wuite a lot of people here, even though I hadn't included myself in that group yet. I wish you luck, and give you this final goodbye.

I may not know you as well,(Been on these forums for just a few months now) but from what I've seen since I've been here is that you've been a great Help to the people here and the forums. It makes me so sad to see you go, but I wish you best of luck for the future my friend. And Remember... Always Shine On! */)
Well you've been great to have around. Seriously your advice was always helpful and you started some really great topics on this forum. Good luck with everything!
I'm not here anymore, but if you want you can still just call me Mr. BigBagelBoggle!
I seldom post here myself anymore, but I'd like to give you thanks where thanks is due.
Thanks for all the help when I was buying my nearfields, building my computer, and looking into acoustic paneling. You even went out of your way to grab a list of all the sites I could buy raws from to build the material I needed. I really do appreciate that effort. It didn't go to waste. I assure you I would've spent days looking for what you spent an hour probably finding. So thanks for that.
Best of luck moving forward. Your willingness to help others will be greatly missed.
Fair's fair then. If you feel your time here is done, then I wish you the best of times for times to come. I don't remember us having interacted much either, but like many people have said, it was a nice sense of familiarity seeing your name around the forums and reading some of the cool advice you'd drop all the time. It was quite easy for me to see why you held your stature as Mod and why so many people I guess revered you. Don't really have much to say that's different from everyone else at this point, but I just wanted to echo the sentiment. From everything i've seen and read, you were a great asset to this community and you've sure left your mark. And your presence will be missed.
I wanted to post a "farewell" kind of song or something just because, but I can't think of any suitable song's that have both a non-saddening feel mixed with a farewell message. So, as a result, i'm going to post the one with the happier feeling but non-connected lyrics, because it's the feeling of things coming to an end but with the hope of good things to come that matters more, as this really isn't the end - we still have a future ahead of all of us :3
And so with this, I again wish you good luck and say thankyou :D

I'm still pretty new here, but I do recognize that you seem to have done quite a bit for this forum and its users. I am always sad to see an "old timer" go, but if you think it's for the best, you're probably right.
I wish you the best in your future endavours and God Speed
I know I'm a little late here but I'd like to say a quick goodbye for now :( I'm sad that you're leaving but on the other hand I'm glad that you are doing what you think is right. You were the first person to greet me in this website I think and you gave me some good adivce for that thanks ^_^
Looking for drama? You're definitely doing something wrong if being on a forum stops you from moving on in your life. If the moderator job is too time consuming then give up that position.
