PC's are better because of their flexibility and customization options, hell even a Mac offers more customization options than any consoles ^^

There's arguments for both and in the end it all comes down to the user!

I don't work for a videogame developer or anything, and I'm pretty certain that you don't either, but I strongly doubt that they're "too lazy" to upgrade the software that they use. Especially considering the software they use generally controls how detailed they can make everything and how well the physics of the game can work, etc.

I'm pretty sure Epic Games has pretty much been developing Unreal 5 for the next generation non-stop since Unreal 4 came out.

Just my two cents.

I use everything, each has its strength. Consoles are good for actually having friends, nobody likes looking over your shoulder to take turns playing pc games, and pcs are more customizable, and typically better for online play.

I've never got why this is such a hot issue for people.

I really don't know why either. Some people just can't let others enjoy what they want without insulting them for it. It's pretty ridiculous how much shit consoles get from the PC community when console gamers don't even try to start shit with them. I mean come on?

Well, lets just look at todays console generation:

Xbone: Ha ha no.

PS4: pretty much just a stripped down PC by this point whose main selling point is being able to play exclusive titles. It wins by actually having pretty good exclusive titles at launch, like KH3 (way overdue)

WiiU: the only actual console on the market, wins by being Nintendo, king of exclusivity. Also Smash Bros. The ipad seems pretty cool for games that use inventory screens (imagine playing Resident Evil on this if they still made good Resident Evil games) There are a few good games on the Wii, but the ones that are usually don't use the wagglan

PC: Can play every game ever for free thanks to emulators, can play more indie titles (which are the only things I've been buying lately), is the only thing that can support an RTS (well), and you can play an FPS without the slight autoaim that the console version has since the controls are clunkier on a console.

But enough about consoles, lets talk about handhelds, since my house doesn't have a TV anyway:

PS Vita: what's even the point of half the shit they packed on to the thing? why is there a touch screen on the back. why do i want to buy a 3g version? why why why. you'll notice that the third thing you get in google suggestions when you type ps vita is ps vita hacks, which lets you know how important emulators are to this thing.


3DS: Animal Crossing, Super Smash Bros, Mighty Switch Force, Luigi's Mansion, Donkey Kong Country and all the rad DS games you want (Korg DS-10). I'm only talking about the 3DS XL here tho, the regular 3DS is a pile of ugly looking shit. It's p amazing but yeah all they had to do with the 3DS is make the screen bigger and suddenly it works like it should, with the 3D being a lot more impressive (while still giving me eye strain). If it had an emulator that didn't force me to buy a $15 flashcart, it would be perfect.

I also never understood why we flame people for not being part of the 'PC MASTER RACE'. If you want to play a game, just go and play it. I was considering a PC, but as has already been pointed out they are very expensive, especially if you want to have one that run games well. I've played consoles all my life, and whilst the PC is more versatile, I will be buying a next-gen console simply because it's what I'm used to, and I find they outdo the PC for playing with friends anyday.

It's harder to do that though because PC games generally don't have a split screen since they don't anticipate people doing split screen. Mostly just online multiplayer is available. Unless I'm mistaken, but I've only ever seen one pc game that has ever had split screen capabilities. And that was a Hot Wheels racing game that my grandpa had on his Windows 98 computer.

I did a google search to see what computer games supported split screen gameplay, and this website provides a pretty big list. The thing is though, is that a lot or the majority of the games on the list are available for console as well, so that may be why they're listed as having a couch-co-op capability.
