Well, I was going to submit this to WeLoveFines Invader Zim contest. But missed the Terms of Services, only read the rules primer (you'd think it'd be a good idea to include "US citizens only" in that but w/e). So I put it up on DeviantArt instead. Might as well post it here too.

I'll just use this as an art dump thread.

I started this one of Rarity a few days ago, but I wasn't sure I was pleased with where it was going so I put it aside. I might redo the lineart.



Another Rarity. Scribbling around warming up atm and a somewhat decent rarity started taking shape. Still in sketch form. I'm still undecided what to do with the lower left part of it. Maybe a dress? We'll see.

Ok, so I've been toying with this idea for something more hefty than just standalone fanart pieces.
I want to combine three of my favourite things. Shadowrun, My Little Pony and webcomics. So say hi to my very first OC pony. I haven't decided on what to name her yet, or what her cutie mark is going to be, but I'm set on her overall design now (even though it's pretty simple).

Suggestions are welcome (but don't be sad if I don't use your suggestion(s)).

@Facade: Thanks. As far as general advice goes, "practice practice practice" and learn about shape, form and anatomy. Do a google search for "draw ponies" and the first hit should be a compilation of pony drawing guides on EQD. Some of them are great reference guides.

Anyway, I came up with a name for her; Ruby. Her cutie mark is going to be a ruby as well. The name and mark is a reference to the programming language Ruby.

We had a blackout yesterday and it caused me to lose the original file =(
