I'm starting to see exactly why that one guy on Tumblr (I don't remember who exactly) was complaining about how there are so many pegasus OCs. I'm starting to consider amputating the wings off of mine

This is true, but that guy's point was that there are so many people that just go pegasus because they can, paying no heed to whether it's actually a necessary part of the character. (To that end, I just re-rendered sprites of my OC without wings.)

I love pegasi. They kinda suit me really well. You don't need magic to play an instrument, which a lot of people think.

I don't really care, I drew my OC as all 3 races and just saw which one fits character the best. So I chose Pegasus, but I personally prefer Earth pony, and might think of a different version.

But really, no need to hate, the guy's just saying "Pegasuspony iz 2 mainstreemz" which is pretty true from what I see, e\every ponysona, I see, is a pegasus, It's like back in the Furry fandom everyone chooses fox or wolf, same kinda thing, as long as it's Creative It's..ok

Sure, why not, You don't need wings, or horns, even a normal earth pony is just as special!

And surely, People usually choose pegasi because they're badass, and better, they can FLY.
But people should be aware, everypony ain't like Rainbowdash, look at Fluttershy for example.
