Doesn't that mean that we can expect the same humor, just in a new scenario? I think that we should trust in the writers and just wait and see. be optimistic about it, give it a chance just like you gave MLP a chance.

I think this could be good. As long as they don't run a separate series on it.
But yeah, FiM has needed a shake-up for the past year, and I don't think the alicorn thing was going to cut it.

They can tell people that they didn't like it, or don't like the idea behind it, but they can really just leave it at that, they don't need to bash it. Seriously, grow up, just politely say "no thanks" or "I didn't like it" and move on. No need to get your panties in a bundle by continuously telling people how awful you think it is. It's like, when you're in the store, and there's a woman down the isle going off yelling at one of the employees about how awful something she bought from the store is. That lady is nothing but an embarrassment to everybody in the store that they have to shop with her.

My god Ganondox, be a little open minded.
If you look through all the pages in this thread, I haven't bashed a single person, and my comment wasn't aimed at you alone, it was aimed at pretty much everybody who has been bashing EqG. So in a sense I was bashing everybody who's been making such negative comments about the movie before seeing it by telling them how much of an embarrassment they are to the brony fandom. And that's not so much bashing as it is telling the truth.ganondox wrote:There has been far more bashing of the people not interested in the show here, so don't be a hypocrite.
Nine Volt wrote:You claim nobody has seen it (which is true), so they can't say it's good. True, but nobody's seen it to confirm it's bad either. Likewise, just because you don't like the premise doesn't mean you can say it's awful. You haven't seen it either. Hypocrite.

I never said that EQG was going to be bad, I said that the idea was bad, and that it's an awful way to shake up the series. There is a bit of a difference.

You're arguing semantics. That's still an opinionated statement and you should really stop trying to shove it down our throats.
