Needing some Babs Seed help.

Postby GoldenGlissando » 01 Dec 2012 19:14

Okay, so I'm working on a orchestral arrangement of Babs Seed and I came across a problem. During the chorus there is a lovely counter melody played really high up on what sounds like some form of synth. I can't for the life of me figure out what notes they are! I know that it starts with half notes descending in the order Bb G F, but then it does a little eight note pattern that I just can't get. HALP.

Sorry dude. I'd love to help, but I'm just about useless when it comes to telling notes from hearing them.

I definitely don't have an ear for music :?

I've got perfect pitch so I can help somewhat. The first section sounds to me like:

G, F, Eb, [C, Bb, G#, Bb] - last four notes played in quick succession

The second half of the chorus section I just can't discern, too quiet for my ears. Both sections then repeat once in the chorus.
