Dubstep drums

I apologize if there is already a thread of this type on here. If there is, feel free to link me to it, and I'll delete this one.

*ahem*
Dubstep drums. Kicks and snares specifically. I want to know what proper affects would be to add onto them, and how to make them have more punch and intensity of sorts. Tips for hats and other commonly used drums in dubstep would also be appreciated, but kick and snare are the ones that I really want the most help with.

Note the drums.

For the kick, I layered 2 samples, the snare 3.
I also used a total of 12 other percussive elements (6 hats, a shaker, three bongos, a crash, and a reverse crash)

Feel free to ask for anything specific about them.

Some good sample packs?
I believe Vengeance has a dubstep pack, but I just use Clubsounds 3 and 4.
Prime Loops has a taster sample pack that's really good, only like 10 samples from each of their packs though.

But yeah, good samples are important. You can coat shit in gold and diamonds, but it's still shit.

Alright, I'll be sure to layer them and stuff. I don't have an money to buy the fancy vengence drum packs, so I use a pendulum drum pack and this one other really huge ass drum pack, both which I found from here. So I can probably find a few good kicks and snares from there.

Look up tutorials about drum compression and equalization too. That's probably just as important to get strong, punchy drums. Lavender's drum pack has some pretty good samples, if you can find it, I'd also recommend you get the Prime Loops taster (it's free). Boyinaband has some good free samples as well.

Volt gave you some pretty good advice, I'd also like to suggest that you look into drum synthesis whenever you have the time, It's great practice and can really bring your synthesis skills to another level!

I personally have found it pretty hard to make drums sound good using compression and proper EQ if you don't have good samples to start out with in the first place.
