Aside from those, I like TbT SampleReducer, it has a few different samplerate reduction modes. (I think they might just be applying different types of waveshaping/distortion to the signal? But it's kind of neat.)

Also TB TimeMachine. (It's installed as part of this "trial pack" for TB software, but it's a free/full plugin itself.) If it doesn't sound "crunchy" enough, you can fiddle with the DA and AD aliasing knobs.

Yeah, but you can't automate resampling/bit-depth-converting by hand. :P

In which ways does Bitspeek outshine the other plugins? (ex. camelcrusher) because 30 bucks doesn't seem like a bad deal if it works well

I second this. TAL's Bitcrusher is the one I use and it works really well for me. :)

You should also get the other TAL plugins while you're at it, they are just as powerful. In addition to this, you should grab the KarmFX plugins, they are just as good and also free.

Probably the only two that actually work imo :o

Wait a sec, how is CamelCrusher a bitcrusher? It's really just straight up distortion.

I guess because it's so easy to use and very light weight. Ive never really tried anything else.

That's my favorite method, and you can go between that and .13 to get a really good crunch. :D
Whaa? What does "pg" stand for, here?
