Guide to Producing an Epic Orchestral Track

Before I start, I want to say that this isn't in anyway my guide. I just found it extremely helpful and thought some of you guys might appreciate the share.

In the tutorial he goes over quite a few of the basic, and really offers some good advice. It also has samples from one of his tracks so you can get an idea of what each thing will do to improve your track.

I don't like the word epic, but this tutorial was quite good!

However, it caters a lot to using Hollywood Strings and Brass, so if you don't have them, you should ignore all the talk about MIDI controls. Or translate them into the equivalent for what you're using.

You are the hero My Little Remix deserves, not the one it needs.
So we’ll hunt you. Because you can take it. Because you’re not our hero.
You’re a silent guardian of music, a watchful protector of songs.
A doctor of dissonance.

I'm curious to read but I'm at work right now. My post exists strictly to remind me to check back when I get home, whenever that may be. For relevancy's sake, I will say that orchestral composition baffles me and I look forward to reading anything that may help me move forward in that regard.
