This sounds freaking amazing and I just got started on trying to do it myself. It's the same guy who made all the twisted bassline samples for Black Octopus.

The most amazing part is he used nothing but pre material that FL studio already contains. However keep in mind that you carrier matters quite a lot in this process

Oh my yes.

I've never seen this very nice tutorial (well, I don't watch tuts at all...), but I used similar technique in my song for Remix War, in Noisia-style growling bass. Truly, Vocodex is a powerful weapon against boring and too simple things, it can make the whole sound wider and add strong, modern texture. (:
