MIDI Piano Help

Postby TranquilHooves » 03 Aug 2012 22:07

Does anyone know how to get an electric piano hooked up to a DAW and have the DAW record whatever you play on the piano?

If anyone can figure out what genre this is, please tell me, cause I have no clue. :D

It's funny because that is literally the answer.

Had to buy one for mine. Also had to install some (one) driver for it. Was pretty easy after that.

Recording shouldn't be any harder than hitting 'record', though that depends on the DAW.
I'm using FL Studio. I can remember recording in Sonar being a few mouseclicks harder.
Constructive criticism is more than welcome. I embrace it.

I rarely make any sense when I post from my phone. And I post from my phone.
