LMMS users, could you tell me how to make da magicks?

I want to know what libraries and soundfonts people recommend, as well as tips and tricks for LMMS. What help can you give me?

You're really going to struggle with LMMS, it's not a very good program at all. What is your current OS?

If you're on Windows, there is a plethora of alternatives you can consider for making music. If you're on Linux, look up Ardour, or be patient and wait for BitWig to come out.

In the meantime you could try out SunVox, which is something I've used. Here is the sort of music it's capable of making (Yes that vocal is a synthesiser, not a sample. It's incredible). There is a great series of tutorials on YouTube that'll get you started pretty quickly.

Start with This video right here. Then, you need to move on to the next video in the series. And watch the entire Music Hacker (Advanced LMMS) series. Lazerblade is an amazing guy when it comes to getting to know LMMS. And once you've seen most of his videos at least, watch every single video on this blog post. It will definitely help you out a lot. Even if you know music theory, those videos will help you out a bit.
