Pony VS non-Pony ratio

Postby Lethaargic » 07 Aug 2011 22:25

What's the ratio of pony to non-pony projects you guys work on? I'm struggling with an overwhelming amount of ideas for non-pony songs and a frustrating lack of pony themed ideas. Maybe I just haven't been watching enough pony lately, a marathon may be in order.

Well, I'm back at University now (studying music composition) so a load of projects for that have opened up!
As for Pony projects, there's always Sci's Toastbeard competitions if you want to give them a try!
I have actually decided to start writing music inspired by Fallout Equestria, just because I can! :P

You are the hero My Little Remix deserves, not the one it needs.
So we’ll hunt you. Because you can take it. Because you’re not our hero.
You’re a silent guardian of music, a watchful protector of songs.
A doctor of dissonance.

If my text based game counts, 3:2.

probably something 2 to 15, but I'm doing only 2 from those 15 so right now 2 and 2 with 13 in reserve :D
I've got too much plans to remix game musics: terraria, doom, portal, world of goo, super meat-boy, diablo... (probably 80% of them will be ideas forever)

Yeah I checked that out, then I saw this weeks theme - Rainbows. O.k. If I think of something I may go for it.

I'm almost 100% pony-related, but I've got a non-pony melo-death album that'll never get done if that counts for anything.

pretty much all of my ideas and songs are non pony, which is a shame really, id love to give more back to this fandom. id say i do abut 4-5 songs for every pony one although tbh, i spent a lot of time learning and experimenting after my last thing, right now im finishing up a non pony song, then im hopefully gonna get to work on a pony remix

Mine is like one pony to ten non-pony, but that's just because none of my stuff is good enough to be worthy of a pony. It changes, I guess.

I focus mostly on pony.

I only have one non-pony project at the moment: an 8 bit remix of Anesthetize by Porcupine Tree. Because 8 bit remix is best type of remix. I'm having a hard time with all of those odd time signatures though...
