A birthday melody

Postby Sinn Ick » 26 Apr 2012 17:50

Hey guys, i'm just wondering if you could give me any pointers and/or direct me to a video of how to create trance-type music.
It's my birthday today and i'm planing on making something by the end of the day for youtube, i have a few beats in my head, but can't seem to make them work on piano roll.
For "traning" i have taken music classes for around 5-7 years, so i know the basics like bars, pitches, tones, and what SOUNDS good, but some extra help would be awesome

Thanks.

Happy birthday! :)

As you wish:

Basically kicks on quarter notes, hi hats and bass on off beat and snare/ clap on every second quarter. Add a little supersaw melody, a bit of pads and it's done!
Good luck! We're waiting for results. :)
