Have Acid Pro 7, now what?

Postby Shenko » 22 Apr 2012 19:34

I recently acquired Acid Pro 7 and metric ton of samples. I'll be sitting in on some classes next month to learn how to use it, but in the mean time I would like to know if anyone here has any experience using it.

i have acid 6.0, its an awesome program. if you like using samples its awesome and essential if you're taking a song that was at 124 bpm and moving stems to 130. etc. etc.

I use Acid Pro 7 for all my songs. (Please don't use loops to make your songs.) If you want, I'll make a tutorial.

I have no idea why I never replied to this. It's amazing how 3-month old homework that you never intended to do comes back to punch you in the throat.

Anyway, listened to some of your music. Pretty nifty stuff. Orchestral isn't what I was planning to make, but I love the genre none the less. Yes, tutorials would be nice, seeing as I have only the most basic understanding of the program.

Thanks. Sony Acid works for any genre you want to make, it's a full-fledged DAW, but has its faults and is sort of dated in terms of features. I'll make a tutorial on writing a simple song and upload it to Youtube soon.
