METALLICOLTS - Vocal Tips and Recruiting

Postby Hyuugaman » 02 Apr 2012 15:55

I have two concerns I was hoping the My Little Remix community could help with.

1) I would like some good vocal tips for my current singer. He has the range for Metallica, but he needs vocal training... where should he go, what should he do? Any way you can help would be wonderful. He's been a VA for a while but I think this is his first singing project.

2) Would anyone else be interested in helping out the project as a singer? The more the merrier. The group currently consists of well-known names such as Meelz, Prince Whateverer, and during the summer, quite possibly Bronyfied, among others.

I can kind of do Dave Mustaine-esque vocals if you want Ride the Lightning/Kill 'em All styled Metallica.

Outside of that, I can do rhythm guitars, but I assume that position is filled.

Vocal training is best done with a good private instructor, in my opinion. Youtube tutorial binging tends to not be very helpful.

When do you plan on starting to do vocal work? I've more or less got the range of Metallica (plus a fairly extensive falsetto that you may or may not want), but I'd like to do a lot of practice before I actually try anything.
