It's the best for chiptune, but you can't do anything else on it. OpenMPT is the best free tracker for other genres.

You should try Renoise. It's pretty sweet for all genres

I have. Renoise is pretty aweome as well.

Yea I've had the demo for a bit but only just started using it. May buy it soon

I'm a bit weird. I use Reason 5... for orchestral stuff lol. Okay I do infuse it with a bit of electronic stuff too I guess.

Logic Pro.

Because I use Logic since 1999 and because it's pretty cheap via the App Store. :)

FL. I'm too lazy to figure out another DAW and I don't think I need to because I'd rather just continue learning how to use FL, though I understand it pretty fluidly.

I also use Audacity for sampling and audio editing, I used to use Audition for years but I switched because Audition was glitchy and unstable and couldn't open a number of formats I needed to.

no offense, but I only use FL all the time because almost all the other DAWs seem ugly in interface.

Currently I've been using FL Studio for around eight months now (my first DAW) :D and now I'm somewhat dabbling in Ableton Live 8.2.2 and Cubase 5 <-- Becoming more used to the layout of this but still a lot to learn :3

I have FL Studio 10 and Reason 5. I use Reason more (in fact I only use FL when I'm not experimenting to sync the vox) because I'm most familiar with it, but I'm trying to get more into FL because of its VST support. I have Massive and Nexus by the way.

None taken. I've used Sonar since before it was called Sonar and it's never looked as good as FL. Definitely one of the better-looking DAWS.

Mixcraft 6, begrudgingly I rather dislike the new interface.

Mixcraft 5, to prove to everyone it's equally capable of making good stuff. Also, I have FL Studio, but I usually make it to compose breaks and other percussion.
