I really hope to gain more experience with the technical side of music. I'd like to earn a degree in Music Production or Recording Arts and take up music as a career. If possible, I'd also like to make music that I know for sure will entertain others.

I make music mostly for myself. I consider the test of my music to be if I listen to it five years down the road and say, "wow, I wrote this."

Since I understand my tastes are a bit more out of the mainstream, I understand if most people don't listen to my stuff. Indeed, it's why I make music for myself, because trying to get everypony to enjoy my music would be fruitless, but it's always nice to know when I've connected with someone else through my music.

I want to be a DJ/Producer in hopes that it will help me pay my way through college. I have lots of time to practice (about 4 years till I go off to college.) and I'm glad that I have this fandom to help me along my way. A closer goal of mine is preforming at the school talent show next year. I'm working like a madman towards that goal.

Mainly to entertain, and also as a hobby that's both really fun and productive (as in: an additional income).

I'm a wild guy, I make wild music, I like going wild to music, and as a DJ you want the crowd to be wild with you too.

Music is also something I use to express feelings/emotions and in some ways it relieves me of frustrations or anger. What some people don't know is that I actually play several instruments in an orchestra and I make piano arrangements as well. Most people link 'making hardcore/hardstyle/etc edm' with being fascist skinheads/idiots/morons, but most of the musicians I know in that scene either started out or are still what people would consider 'actual musicians' (read: they play intruments, know music theory, etc. etc.).

Either way, TL;DR: I strive for quality and perfection, I seek emotional relief and to express myself through my music, I want to entertain people and I'd like to be sort-of succesful (= make some decent money) so I can focus on doing what I like (= making music) without having many other things to worry about. I suck at multitasking...

I know I always say "to collaborate with the best Brony artists", it's kind of my mantra.

But to be honest, I have a lot of heroes in 'Hip-Hop' manestream that I admire...

I think it would be to ultimately branch out beyond Brony Music and to eventually collaborate with people in the Hip-Hop industry.

Okay, this is one of those threads I need to reply to.

What I want to achieve with making music is rather simple: not fame, not recognition... not money. But what I want is to have a sizeable - not huge - audience that loves to listen to my music, comment upon them and give me some feedback / collab offers. I used to produce as a hobby; to kill some of the free time; now I really think I am good enough for people to listen to my stuff and really enjoy it.

I hope to be one of the masterminds behind the programming/ design of a DAW... that means someone to create default instruments, presets, demo songs, or maybe as someone who designs the creatable instances (Not VST's, because I use Reason. Reason = no VST's). Also, writing music is just plain fun, but I'd like to get one of the more obscure careers in it. Or composing. Composing would be nice. Reeeaaaalllll nice.

Two main things:

1. To better myself as a musician. Nomatter how good you get, there's always room for improvement.

2. To share my music with as many people as possible, through whatever means at my disposal.

Everything else is strictly secondary.
