Need Help with H4N to FL Studio

Postby SticktheFigure » 20 Oct 2012 22:37

Hey all.
I'm going to skip any formalities and go straight to the issue.
I'm using FL Studio 10 and trying to connect (via USB) my Zoom H4n as a microphone. I also already have my USB headset and a midi controller connected as well. Once I connect the H4n I no longer have a working audio output. Neither my headphones nor the H4n itself will output audio. Is anyone educated in this problem or have any clue as to what could be wrong?

If you need any additional info or screenshots, let me know.

Thanks.

(P.S. I'm fairly certain that Asio4All is causing the problem, I'm just unsure as what to do about it.)

I can't help much with Fl Studio, but I use a H4N and had major problems with it and ASIO4All. When I switched to the ASIO driver that Cubase 6 has, it was smooth sailing.

So yeah, ASIO4All is most likely the problem...that's as far as I can help I'm afraid!

Yeah, I never was able to get the asio driver working with usb. I just used audacity instead to record with my usb mic.

Seems the solution would be simply switching the driver. I suppose there is a decent number of other free ASIO drivers out there too. And if that doesn't work, well.

Yeah, I suppose there is nothing wrong with just using Audacity instead.
I just guess I was hoping to keep it all within one program. Oh well.
