Electro House/Complextro synth stabs

Welp, I haven't been on here in a while, but I'm having a bit of trouble and since YouTube isn't helping me, I figured someone here might help.
Basically, I need to know how to make those real funky stabs heard a lot in complextro, electro house, french house, nu-disco, etc etc.

This right here is a great example of it, Porter Robinson and Mord Fustang use it too.

Saw waves are your friend here. It's all about how you arrange the tones in your chords. Also layering an electro bass with a chord synth sounds pretty sweet.

EDIT: If you want to "funkify" any sound, add some vibrato (MONO vibrato) to it and sequence it with a bit a lot of swing.
