5 Tips and Tricks from 'Lazy Rich' (EDM/Club Music)

Postby 5COPY » 07 Aug 2012 04:45

Once again was browsing BlackOctopus for samples and found another article.

I've fell over some of Lazy Rich's stuff here and there on promotion channels. I really like it when good producers are willing to share some secrets.

He doesn't talk an awful lot about technical stuff but he do talk a little about structure. And a little tip on typical mistakes beginners make.

I talk to much check out the interview yourself: http://blackoctopus-sound.com/interviews/lazy-rich/
I don't have time for fancy signatures.

I've recently realized how important #4 is. Sometimes, no matter what you do - it's just not going to work for your ears in that session - just leave it for awhile. You're just gonna give yourself an aneurysm

#5 is also a really great tip, I wish I knew that one when I first started out.

Thanks for sharing!

Very nice. #4 can also apply to other things, like a paper for school, a story, or a drawing. You can see things if you take a break that you wouldn't see if you don't. Editing your own paper a day after you write it can make a huge difference.
