I personally don't use this software, but this competitor has helped the development of its rivals. This also could dramatically affect Avid.

Signed, will bump this on Tumblr too. As much as Sibelius hasn't been my favourite program for scoring, I definitely don't want it to go the same way pro Tools has. Avid are a horrible company...

QFT. Avid/M-Audio holds the all-time record of the shittiest companies I've ever had to deal with. They also charge an obscene amount of money for technical support.
