Wubbing Help

Postby xadobex » 31 Jul 2012 11:50

Hey guys so I'm trying to figure out how to make wubbing at different speeds (ie one part would go wub wub wub, and then the next would go wubwubwubwubwub, wubbing faster) with NI Razor in FL studio, preferably in one track.
I already know how to do it with the standard event editor for the LFO, but it doesnt work that way for Razor :P

The best example for Razor that I can think of is in the demo video from the 0:26 - 0:28 mark.
it goes "wub wub wubwubwub".

The only way I could imagine on how to do it would be overly complicated and involve switching between a bunch of different tracks for different speeds.
I make music but i'm not that good.

Automate the LFO speed. It's that simple.

Use the "Last Tweaked" feature. If you want. It's a lot easier than scrolling through all of Reaktor's parameters.

(On Image-Line's own products) Right-clicking on the parameter, and selecting Create Automation Clip

or

(This on any other plugin, not powerd or created by Image-Line) Moving the parameter of choice, and then selecting Create Automation Clip from Last Tweaked under Tools (FL Studio's standard interface)

or (Not recommended; this is the exact technique as above, but not using FL Studio's macro - which is just giving yourself a hard time)

Selecting the plugin your automation will be on from the Browser (F8) under Generators or Effects, and then right-clicking on the parameter-name - selecting Create Automation Clip (Same as the first technique, just not in the plugin-interface).

But...Don't give up on the switching-tracks idea. Change something besides the LFO, and you would have a bunch more interesting wubs to use.
Constructive criticism is more than welcome. I embrace it.

I rarely make any sense when I post from my phone. And I post from my phone.
