How do I into Ambient pls

There are a lot of tutorials about how to make music in certain styles and genres: composition tecnhiques, sound design, various tips and tricks.
I haven't found anything like that for ambient music. So, what should I learn? What synths should I use?

I hope there are people on MLR that interested in ambient music.
