Learning the keyboard

Postby BronyTuber » 23 Mar 2012 21:53

So, a little while back I dropped some cash on a midi keyboard and its been... a very long time since I took lessons so I'm pretty much learning from scratch on how to play this thing again. I've been slowly teaching myself but I was wondering if anyone had any good tips or anything for learning to play the keyboard.

Hmmm.

Scales, Arrpegios, Learn Chords. Build your technique.
Best advice I can give.

How to learn the keyboard:

- Find the quickest and most efficient way to play your sections.
- Don't trip up over your fingers.
- Play sections perfect, no matter how slow, and slowly build up to the speed you want from there.

With those things in mind, your technique will come. Learning scales, chords, and chord progression will also help greatly.
