dBlue Glitch (1.3)

Postby Random111223 » 13 Feb 2012 13:59

I have an annoying problem with this plugin. It seems to trigger the effects at different times depending when i play the track. For example, if i start my song from the beginning, the plugin will produce a different sound than if i started it halfway through.

I hope you understood.. Anyone know a way around this?

Different parts of the track sound different than others, making the effects themselves sound different.

i dont think you understood, sorry that question was kinda confusing

Let me put it this way: if i could get the plugin's internal sequencer to reset everytime it effects a new sample in the track, it would be fixed. Can this be done in any way?

Nope. You can however freeze a track, or use more than one instance of glitch.

or, best answer: download dblue tapestop and use your daw for all other effects

You can simply record the output of the track all the way through the song. Then import the audio back into your song and mute the track.

yeah this is an amazing tool that i think really people need to grab (as its free and very usefull).

some tips to whoever they may help.

* first thing is to take the full random off whatever channel you've add it to. don't use random as its useless as its unpredictable unless you want full lunacy. obviously if you want the same part of your loop to be effected you need the correct bpm.

* if you need to vary it up record your efforts and making additional glitches or do multiple sessions and cut & paste.

* you can take segments out if you have something like in 3/4 time.

* retrigger is awesome effect and you can do drops with a pitch adjustment as well or tapestop to do it more slowly.

* experiment with different effects and hit random on an effect to hear different adjustments

* use panning to have your effects scuttle them back and forth between the right and left channel.

i will say i may need to update my dblue as mine locks up my daw when i don't have any input midi or wav in the channel i'm glitching so be aware of this if you have the same issue.
