On the collab part, can we collab with not two but THREE musicians? Because with 2 friends I could make Drum n Orchestral Metal.

that sounds like a beautiful combination

Ok, remember what I said about not being able to participate? I changed my mind, since I was gonna get back to making music on Sunday anyway. I missed the last two RW's and I'm definitely not passing this one up.

I must ask, though, is there a Skype chat for this?

(P.S.: The "collab between two different genres" portion sounds interesting. My Skype's in my signature if anyone wants to work on one.)

I'm really excited for this!

I have a question about the restriction of sexual material for themes/lyrics though:
I am remixing Freewave's "Fixing Futashy" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=desX932BcwY.
I would like to add some vocals to the piece, and I am confident in my ability to write them in a way that they are tasteful and not explicit, but would even that be going to far from a thematic standpoint?

Thanks,
Mathematicus

Actually, if I'm correct, I think Freewave actually has vocals for that song; they just never made it onto the album.

Can I submit like the Radio Edit of the remix?

And then Upload the full version in a future...

(Oh and you can pm me if you want to collab with my "hardstyle" lol)

Please hold off until the day of the event. This includes previews, alternative mixes, WIPs, etc.

Oi. I'm new to this site, though I'm not new to makin' tunes/remixes/whathaveyou. I'm most familiar with chip music and it's subgenres, but I'll go for any genre, I s'pose. That said, if anyone's down for a collab for this war, hit me up.

Lemme get my mic.

Who wants to collab for the first entry for a mashup genre? Basically, screw Optional Entry #2; I'm stitching them together.

Voca-fag here. If you want to make an acapella track in whatever genre you do... hit me up. I'll grab my mic and start recording smpamples.

Would it be possible if there was a list somewhere (Google Docs probably) of people who are currently doing collabs for this? It would make my life a lot easier.

Quick question: can I rework an existing remix that I've already started to the level of quality needed for this? I have a remix that I would love to redo and fix up.
