Can we apply for remix war any time between now and the deadline for submitting tracks?

Can we change this part?

Remixer fixes Remixed - Title of Track

Several people got quite upset in the comments section of my remix on youtube last time. The issue was the word fixes gives the assumption that the original piece had something wrong with it and the remix is making it better. This is obviously not the case.

You're right, I kind of copied that from the Remix War V's topic without thinking. It doesn't even make sense in this context. I'll fix that in the main post.

Also, KibbieTheGreat did some art for us, I put that in the main post.

I'll be around somewhat maybe to make some musicians "some" cover art this year. Probably won't be as much as I did for Remix War V.

Just gonna remind everyone though, the graphics design/cover artist/wallpaper artist side of the Brony community has its own little forums now too. They even have sections to either commission cover art or request some free cover art.

No, not technically, but keep it under 10 minutes if you would.

I know that there are restrictions regarding the content of the remix (no swearing, no sexual themes, etc.) but what are the standards when it comes to the actual quality of the music? I've only been making music for like 3 months and am wondering whether or not I should join. Also, how different does the genre and style of the remix need to be from the original?

The OP says that submissions won't be judged, and I don't think there are restrictions when it comes to genre and style. Hope that answers your questions.

I have done enough remixes, I need to do a collab.

If anyone is interested in doing a collab that involves a guy who is stuck in 1982, contact me, as I am hopeless at finding others.

Mush, I'd actually be pretty okay with making 80s style rave tracks. It's kind of a sound I've wanted to get into. Synthpop or New Wave, I guess? get@me

I just heard about this remix war, and I'm intrigued. I've never been too involved with MLP, especially not Brony created music, but what I have heard I have liked, and I can envision myself creating something awesome from this. This remix war is definitely something I want to participate in.

I'm going to have to do some searching to find someone to collaborate with, though, since I have absolutely zero presence in the MLP community. If you - yes, you reading this! - happen to be interested, check out my Youtube channel to hear what I've done in the past (mostly orchestral stuff) -

If you like what you hear, and are still interested in collaboration, e-mail me at [email protected], and we'll discuss the project from there. Let's create something reality shaking!

I was making music for like 1 month when I made my song for Remix War 1. There is no standard of quality as long as you try your best. There is no requirement that the genre change at all, just try and give the song a different spin.

Wow, that's pretty good. But that reminds me, please don't post WIPs or completed entries until the remix war is over. Showing a few friends is fine, but it's no fun if a lot of people have already heard it.

A question if I may

On the collab part, can we collab with not two but THREE musicians? Because with 2 friends I could make Drum n Orchestral Metal.
