Looking for a Dubstep Collab

Postby DJSadEyez » 19 Sep 2012 03:22

Hey you Dubstep Bronies out there!

I'm just asking for some one of you who will help me out with a new Dubstep song I'm making.

For now I'm sick, but I will become healthy soon (i hope) and then I want to proceed.

I also have a singer for this (as long as she's not changing her mind ^^).
It's going to be easy dubstep, vocal dubstep. So I just need some wobble master out there ;D
DAW: FL Studio 11.0.0/10.0.8
VSTs: NI Massive, Sylenth1, Sakura, Z3ta+2

I don't tend to make dubstep, but I'm always down for collabs. What DAW do you use?

I'm a bit crunched on time, but I might be able to help you in a week or 2. Are you ok with waiting, or does this song have a deadline?

I'm getting better at wobble bass. But I've also made some cool vocal basses and stuff in Massive with a few external effects. I have an example of my dubstep on my youtube channel, but that isn't exactly my true style (I'm new at this).

But yeah, if you need a few wobbles, vowel basses, growls, and bizzare robotic noise, I can help in about a week.

I feel like I should ask this:

What style of dubstep are you going for? Something Skrillex-y? Excision/Datsik/Downlink-ish robotic industrial noise? Full out brostep (like Ajapai, Parametic, Figure, or Eptic)? Liquid, chilled out dubstep (like Blackmill and Mt.Eden)? Synop style insanity? Old school? Some combination of the following?

Note: I have more experience failing at being Downlink and Datsik. But I did make some badass Massive bass patches in the process.

I have written, it's going to be easy, vocal based dubstep. That's why I will use more wobbles. :)

I use Ableton, but I can send my wobbles as wav files in two weeks as long as I can hear a WIP of the song first.

Was gonna offer to help with vocals, but then saw you already had a singer. Darn. That's the only thing I can do, sorry :/
