Um... request?

Post Midis, project files, samples, stems, here. Also great place to request collaboration or specific files/sounds.

Um... request?

Am I even allowed to do this stuff?

OK, back to business...

Heya guys, name's MyLittleAwesome, MLA for short. Was wondering if anyone knows where I might get a MIDI for Alex S's Party With Pinkie (if it's not too much trouble, of course).

Thanks in advance!

Youtube -- Soundcloud -- Tumblr -- Bandcamp (new album out!)

I can't feel my brain.

Already did, said no. Frankly, I think he doesn't even know how to make a MIDI file of the thing. xD

I asked The Living Tombstone as well (who wrote the solo for this particular piece), and he never replied.

Well, this video has the Party with Pinkie solo written out in TAB, which is a start. I know stuff from Guitar Pro can be exported to MIDI, so maybe if you ask the guy nice enough he'll give it to you?
I like to think I'm well-rounded because I'm not really good at anything.

Worst case scenario, just do what I do.

Recreate it by ear. It takes longer and is hard for people without any training or experience, but it can be done if you put forth the effort.

I don't even use midis, I just recreate everything by ear. I find it funny that I do this for electronic music, but I enjoy recreating the sounds over borrowing the midi.

Actually, I already learned the solo by ear ages ago, I'm just looking for a decent background to play the solo to (frankly, recording 4 chords over a built-in rhythm doesn't quite do it justice).

Yeah, I'm pretty much bummed. I can only import MIDI files (and pretty short ones at that).
