This all looks, smells and sounds really stupid to me. I'd support enforcing a 'no necromancy' rule in a help thread that's already been resolved or something of that effect, but this is an open discussion. Who cares if someone answered a question a bit late? This thread is just as relevant now as it was when it was created.
If you really must enforce this rule mercilessly, why not just have every single thread locked after a month has passed, instead of berating every newbie that doesn't conform to some unwritten forum rule?
