If it has any rhythm, it must either be a nearly indecipherable polyrhythm or an alienated pulse that is not throughout the entire track. what if to properly demonstrate what I think a rock represents, it should be a very steady beat? ;D
also i dont believe in overcomplicating music for the sake of complicating it, but whatevs, im hype to make a thing

Haha, yeah, this was definitely a thing a year ago that kind of just dropped off of existing. But now it is definitely in existence!
By the way, I only have one entry from a year ago, and it's someone who knows who they are already. So if you submitted something a year ago for an album that had a description SUPER similar to this that never came out, you should probably submit it again. It's the same project.

Can we use simulated rocks too? virtual rocks? pebbles or boulders?
...how about a comet, that's a rock as well :3

Pebbles and boulders are fine. Freesound.org rocks are fine. Comets are giant pieces of ice in space, and are not rocks.

+will you get mad if i use an 808 snare? i thought itd be awesome to layer some 808 snares over the rock track.

It will not be accepted if it has elements other than rocks. 100% rocks is a requirement. I'll be a strict ass about that!

Try figuring out how to make rocks sound like an 808! Fun sound design!
Also, keep in mind that even though rocks are rather percussive, we're not accepting anything that is "conventionally rhythmic."
