First attempt at trance. Fun as hell to work with.

Repetitive tho. But this is just experimentation ;)

Also, Luna is my waifu.

Aye it is pretty repetetive, but I mainly made this just to try out the genre, and try out a load of the synth presets from sytrus. Found some damn awesome ones too. Also tried out the reverse crash thing and a little bit of automation, which is actually incredibly easy in fl.

I can see trance being a genre i'm going to like a lot :P

This song is super delightfully upbeat and I sincerely enjoy the use of samples, particularly down-pitched Luna who sounds like a fun-obsessed viking or something~*~and also the surprise WWUing

I dunno if I've been desensitized by power/speed metal, eurobeat, etc. But I think this song could be much more upbeat. I personally abuse the high-pitch synth+arpeggio too much, so you might want to try it out. Also, if you want, you could try incorporating sweeps so your... drops(?) could have more impact: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1Zh_Hp1Ie8 (around 2:12)

OOKAI. Question tiem! (That is... if you don't mind...)
How did you do that slide in 1:05 where the sound pans to the back? Which gated synth preset did you use?

But overall, solid composition you got thar.

Hehe thanks, I prefer it when people are constructively critical as it helps me learn :P It's much more productive than I LIKE IT or DONT LIKE IT.

And the slide there is actually very simple. The Synth is Sytrus's "Depthcharge" Preset, and the slide effect just comes from Shifting from A3 E4 A4 to C4 G4 C5 when in the middle of the loop.

And thanks for the advice ;) I'll take a look into it. I've got HUNDREDS of tutorials to watch so i'll add them to the pile.
