Luna's Ruse (feat. haymaker) WIP

So... I was talked into sharing this as a WIP (I'm glad he did though since it was an awfully fitting time to post it considering today's episode of MLP). I pushed haymaker into collaborating on a track because he has a fantastic voice and this is what happened. There's about a 1:30-2:00 minutes worth of track that's not included here, still working on that.

I don't really have a nice pair of monitors to mix on, so if there's any freqs that need tweaking, let me know.

I'm glad you posted this, zaco. Thoroughly enjoying this piece. There are some places the synth drowns out the voice a bit, but otherwise I feel it's a good balance. Haymaker has a great voice, one of the few songs I can really get the lyrics without having to concentrate.

Heh, I did make an effort to try and correct that when you mentioned it prior. I'll probably see about purchasing some monitors so I can mix this appropriately. (Course by that I mean, that's been on my wishlist anyway)

Wow, that's pretty chill. Love the vocals. I'd probably increase the volume of your synth lead on the break, since you don't need to worry about it drowning out your vocals there. It sounds a bit quiet.
