Uplifting Trance

Postby MichaelA » 22 Oct 2011 23:26

Hey everypony, I decided to give a go at harder trance then I usually make. Like, hardcore awesomeness. So I decided to make Uplifting trance, because I love the feeling it provokes in me, and it's my favorite sub-genre of trance. So please, criticism accepted :)

Also, havn't really gotten around to the melody yet, though that one part where the bass pads come in, I'm thinking of having the melody fade in as well.

I think the beat must be less compressed and more pumping, this will make me dance to it. At the moment it seems too still. And the chord progression is almost the same as in I need that.

I absolutely love the drums and synths, but the chord progression could use work, as Andy said.
