<original><pony><Industrial><wip> The pony crusher

Hello ^^

I have a new wip here
It's my very first Industrial track, i ake some elements in some song i have listened before to do this music. I take 3 full days to compose it and listen more than 10 mix of industrial/EBM music on youtube to discover and learn more about this style.

Here is the track : https://djs4m.bandcamp.com/track/the-po ... n-progress

I need feedback about mastering, melodies to finish this music, but feedback about effects, sounds are welcome ^^

I hope you enjoy it ^^

Nice I dig your synths! But as a note you kept your energy level really high in your verse which took away from your chorus having the impact it could have had. Maybe try pulling and fading your drums and basses over about 8 to 24 bars before your first chorus note. Just something to try

Now this is something I can get behind. Reminds me of Memmaker, SAM and ESA.

I think a bit more variation could serve you well. Some high pass filter rises, sweeps or other buildups to really hit home with the most intense parts. It's also a bit too compressed for the percussion. You have a lot of it, so I would definitely recommend letting it shine. Parallel compression should serve you well here.

But overall, I really dig it. This is something I could easily play at DJ nights or just at a party.

It needs a stronger finish and another part to serve as a bridge right where the track currently ends.

You now have my attention, modernbard. Let's see how you progress through this

Thanks you for your advice ^^

NigthmareRare : for the lead synths, it's just a distorted supersaw with bitcrush effect, and fifth square sounds ^^

Injustrial : Thanks for your help ^^ in this version it's only a wip, and i use the limiter on master, on the final version i remove the limiter and do a real mastering, i add some sweeps, turn the bpm to 148 (faster) and low a bit the compression of the kick ^^

So there is the final version > https://soundcloud.com/samuelbor2/the-pony-crusher
