Wubbing Summer Remix Compilation

Hello MLR!

I recently made a song in the style of Vinyl Scratch, and this got me thinking. I was curious as to what the same song would sound like in different styles, for example Octavia.

Some bright spark in my Skype contacts (you know who you are) gave me the idea to ask the community to see if they could bring a new style to this, and how they interpret the pony's 'musical taste'.

Details:
Deadline is 25th July
Tracks to be submitted in .wav
If you want to send a WIP, .mp3 is better.

The money (if any) will go towards supporting my performance and time at BUCK. I'm not doing this for cash, its just bandcamp lets you donate. Any donations will go towards that.

There will be judging involved, but not greatly. If your track is harmful to hearing or a troll tack it will not be considered. If something doesn't make it because of some reason, I will let you know and you will have a chance to fix it up!

How to submit:
Send an email with a link to your track (dropbox, mediafire etc) to [email protected] with the subject 'ARTIST NAME - Wubbing Summer (In the Style of YOUR STYLE')

Depending on how many I get sent, most should get in the album at the end. If you have any queries, contact me on that email there, or over on YouTube

Just a few things I think you should add.
1: Deadline
2: What format should submissions be in (wav, mp3, etc)
3: Is there any quality control involved? (Any judges)

If it's a remix ep then it can be a little more flexible than a full event album. But this could turn into a full blown album if people like the idea of running with this.

A deadline would be good. Always smart for wips to be in mp3 and the final submission HAS to be in wav (for bandcamp).

So it sounds like the remixes would cover characters like Octavia and Lyra and maybe even other non-musical ponies? If so i recommend using my genre guide for ideas for character / genre matches.
