How is progress, everyone?

Well, I'm about to start recording the song Tomorrow and Hopefully finish most, or if not, all of it by Saturday. Because I sadly have to start school next week.

But Likewise I'm excited to record!
Though One Question, Since I'm doing a Dark Ambient Track, Can I have very Small pieces of Lyrics here and there?(I Plan the Track to be 9-15 Min. Long) Because the Dark Ambient song that I have in mind will be a combo of Dark Ambient/Progressive Rock(Pink Floyd-Esque, but will be very Dark). My First Try on Both Genres. So I just want to know if this would be Acceptable, or otherwise I don't know what else to work on for this album. But please, I Just want to know.

P.S. Also if you want to know my Inspiration for what my track will seem quite like, then it's Pink Floyd's "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast", But Very Dark and based upon a Terrible Nightmare someone has, and it's aftermath. But Just to give an example of What I'm bringing on the table for this Album.

I'm busy on a track that starts out as happy-ish hardstyle with a revbass kick and positive vocals, but when the 'vocalist' gets angry, well... so does the track. XD

I'm looking for something dark, desolate, a bit empty but still with a look of clear devastation.

I've no idea why the dimensions are so massive, I chose 800x800px and when I rendered it it came out as 3333x3333px. Weird

Edit: I need to up the opacity on the text. It's at 4% and I kinda just forgot about it.

Okay, I'm sorry to say Alecs, but I've chosen to at least not use your album artwork, cause I find it clearly the least fitting for the album.

This whole 'doom' thing is harder than it sounds. Anybody got any tips on how to stop your track becoming un-doomful?

Slow tempo, minor key, dissonance, eerie soundin synths (try measing with a slowish attack time an maybe a little reverb), use of FX and samples to keep up a sense of doom throughout. Just a couple of pointers. For something like this, writing to a theme will be very helpful too - try telling a story or playing out a scenario through your track. :3
