The bass and the drums for the first part of my R&R entry more or less wrote themselves - got over 3 and a half minutes of stuff that flows well and I'm pretty pleased with... only I can't come up with a melody for it. Came out with a pretty sweet piano riff that just doesn't fit with the rest of the song. Dragged it right to the end so that even if I can't fit it in this track I can recycle it for another one. I'm hoping that if I carry on just laying what I can out for the rest of the song, eventually I'll put something in later on that I can toss back to the beginning and introduce as a melody. Fnar.

Monstercat, Mr. Suicide Sheep, Liquicity, Going Quantum and Tasty Network made and named the website with the intent of building a network that could actually "spotlight"/promote our partners. We're rolling out an enormous campaign to launch our Facebook/YouTube and I was hoping to get in touch with the Brony community before that happens.

... to grab onto the bandwagon and pull the rest of the brony community with you merely because you're associated with MLP. Be careful with that, doing something like that will also bring in the haters who will do anything in their willpower to bring you down because you promote bronies. And then not everybody, the people who don't make pony music or aren't bronies, will not actually want to be associated with you. Unless you really just want your site to turn into another useless piece of junk floating around cyberspace, don't aim for bronies, aim for good music. It happens to be that our fandom has some good producers, but do not aim for them because they are bronies, aim for them because of their music.

If that's the vibe that I gave off, I apologize. To clarify, I'm not a brony, nor am I specifically a fan of MLP-based music (though I have nothing against either).

It was brought to my attention that many bronies happen to be EDM producers as well. I'm extending this offer to you as producers, not as bronies, because many of you are actually very talented in music production.

Many of you have expressed interest in making new YouTube channels that aren't associated with MLP fandom at all and I've made myself available for guidance.
