80s Album Redux

Hey guys. I know there was another 80s album up, but that one never came to fruition. I want to rectify that by doing a charity album of sorts, similar to Seeds of Kindness or Faithful and Strong, but to raise money to Kiki's Cancer Fund. They're only a little bit away from the goal, so why not kickstart that progress, huh? Here are some basic specs:

1. Originals, as well as covers of official and fanmade MLP songs are welcome, but they must be covered in an style popular in the 80s.

2. Keep the content PG-13. This means no excessive violence, gore, sexual themes, etc. (Subtle double entendres are not restricted, though)

3. There's no limit to what you can write about, as long as it adheres to rule #2 and it's pony related in some way.

4. There is no due-date yet, but I'll update it once it comes along.

5. If there's too many participants, quality control will be used, but hopefully it won't come to that (Unless I release a B-side album)

Yes. It can be an original song, or a cover of an official MLP song or fanmade (Basically anything made by the community), it just has to be in a style reminiscent of the 80s. Be creative, as some genres that existed back then still exist today.

I have a question though, does it have to sound like authentic 80's music or can it be a mix of modern EDM and 80's?

I would prefer authentic 80s, but I'm not totally against remixes. Whatever makes you happy.
