And perhaps we should add some avant garde elements to the prog metal collab (ie. Unexpect) for added swag, prog, and brutality.

I can do rather typical screams, If I must.
I also do a lot of singing. Typically more opratic, but nonetheless qualified.

Totally up for this Progressive Metal... thing. I could try to provide drums for it (though I don't know if I'm quite THAT good) and maybe a little piano improv?

I think it's a "who's qualified" type of track instead of an all-inclusive one.

Unless if I got this right: We're making a couple of collabs and solo songs, and there's one big humongous collab that is apparently prog metal.

I think a good idea with this would be to first compile a list of who is doing what, and in what order we'll be working on this. I also think that everyone who wants to group their part with anothers (ex. a guitarist and a vocalist) should get in touch with each other and begin brainstorming, asap.

Another idea: We do two wtf-collabs. One geared towards all the metal-inclined, and another for the electronic producers. Note, I think everyone should have the option of participating in both if they want.
What does everyone think?

Sounds like it should work. As for deadlines, I assume a lot of us are participating in the Remix War? We'll want quite a bit of time after that to work on this.

Everything here seems fine, but two wtf collabs still a lot, and even that, I WEELY want a full wtf massive collab lol.

I was thinking the prog metal collab would just be a semi-big one for people who have the proper talent, not one of the huge collabs. I imagine the WTF one(s) will be somewhat like the 4 bar insanity one.

Well, there aren't many guidelines. Basically, use your element and collabs are encouraged. Do as many songs as you want. And we don't have a WTF collab yet. Just a rather large prog one. Let's say 3 months for making your song, collab with anypony you want. Then we start on the WTF collab.
