Aussie and I have started a project that will be giving you a chance to break your restraints. Don't worry about how pony your song is (although being clever is encouraged), don't worry about whether your song is complex or simple. Don't worry about what people will think of your track, because these questions don't matter when your song is as intense and hardcore and awesome quality as you can possibly muster. We're here to bring the blood and mud to the speakers. From death electro to heavy metal, these tracks will go as hard as an unstoppable force on an immovable object. The drops will be intense. The licks will be supreme. The riffs will pound sensationally. You get a bunch of masters of music on stage and you have to stick out. It's time to throw the Balloon Party.
Guidelines:
1. Cussing/sexy stuff won't make your track hardcore, so don't disqualify your track from possibly playing at Bronycon.
2. Some of us may want to do gorey sounds and such to make their songs seem cooler. I guess you can, but it's cheesy if done wrong. Don't overdo it, it shouldn't be what makes your song so balls to the wall, and, again, it may disqualify the song.
Collaborations are encouraged.
FAQ:
Q: Anything I shouldn't do?
A: Don't use the Modern Talking waveform, don't make a lazy song.
Q: HOW HARD DUZ IT HAV 2 BE???
A: HARD. IT HAS TO BE HARD.
Q: I want in!
A: GET IN.
Q: I'm kinda new. Is that okay?
A: Yeah! Ask around a lot, there's a lot of time to make a super good track!
Q: How much critique should I expect?
A: Depends on who you ask, but Aussie and I are happy to give A LOT.
Q: Do I have to emulate Knife Party?
A: Not to exact perfection, but you should go for it!
Q: HOW HARD DUZ IT HAV 2 BE???
A: REALLY. REALLY. HARD.
Q: How many tracks can I make?
A: Don't make a million. Nobody on Balloon Party will make a million tracks because a million sucky songs makes the whole album look like it sucks! You have to make a *GOOD* track. Making a good hardcore track is tough, so just take on what you can handle. There are plenty of artists, just make maybe 1 or 2 or maybe 3, but don't stretch yourself! Songs shouldn't clip (much) and should have reasonably good instrumentation. Mixdowns should be sensible. Mastering should be done with good advice on your mind. Take your darn time!
Q: CAN I WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO START ON MY TRACK?
A: DON'T DO THAT.
Q: HOW HARD DUZ IT HAV 2 BE???
A: FOR CELESTIA'S SAKE I SAID IT HAS TO BE HARD. AS HARD AS POSSIBLE.

Possible responses to this topic that I am expecting:
1. This will be fun I want to join woohoo let's make brony music!
POST AWAY, GOOD SIR.
2. You guys have fun I'm just a sad orchestra composer that doesn't make techno--
SHUT IT. We need orchestra composers too for awesome hardcore orchestra hits or even full compositions! You have to know how to make your instruments rock the crowd like us. This is a challenge to manipulate your composing style to work like and with the electronic music. Classical instruments can be just as effective as a bass cannon. I think our classical musicians have proven that and can do it again.
Alright let's make some hot tracks!
