this makes me sad, all i use is Ableton as my sequencer, occasionally ReWired to FL, some really cheap MIDI keyboard (thats not even mine), a load of freeware synths and NI Komplete =(

Huh. I just use my Ax-Synth Keytar for MIDI, and FL Studio with soft synths *coughmassivecough* for everything else.

It's actually really satisfying. Although a lot less satisfying when it is dark and I can't see the keys. And also now that I have that giant music keyboard taking up all my desk real estate. So yeah, it's awful, but it wasn't always that way.
