One question. Don't rage here, but WTF is Bethesda? A new MPC or something?

EDIT: I play this when I do designs and stuff when I don't make any music.

Bethesda makes fallout games and also elder scrolls title sand also the evil within and also dishonor end and also wolfenstein and also doom and also rage and also quake and brink. K

But I was hoping their games would look a little better. Not asking for a nice rendered thing with a great polish (*cough *cough CoD) but great in-game stuff is what I want. Real time awesome visuals

Remember playing games for the graphics is like watching porn for the story.

Some games I play for graphics because that's really all there is. (Destiny for example has about 3 hours of story)
Some games I play for the story (Pokemon mystery dungeon is a prime example.)

Right now, fallout isn't one of those games where I have felt anything special in regards to having a lot of interest in playing. It seems like there is a lot of story and back story that would take a decent amount of time trying to get into. Plus based off playing new Vegas for about 10 hours, the mechanics of the game were not good enough to keep me wanting to play. :/
So at this point, for me personally, graphics would be the best push to get me to wanna play this game

cuz the game is what im gonna be playin, the product im getting. The render is the best they can do, to get me to buy the game. Im hype for it anyways, its good to know what to expect.

we do NOT play the games for the same reason then. I love stories that are good, that make me forget about irl, and think I am in fallout, and Im doing fallout things. I have a poor laptop pc, and I just want a good enganging story. gfx, who cares.

Bethesda is showing gameplay at E3, the pre-rendered trailer was just to say "hey this exists!" and to build some hype for Bethesda's E3 event. You'll see some actual gameplay after the 14th if I recall correctly.

I want to study some pieces of music to see if it will make me better at making chords.
I'm going to start by studying some Pokemon songs because there are just tons of pieces to those songs that fit together a lot better than stuff I can make. So I figure if I study them well enough, I'll start to see how they did the thing or notice what they do/don't do to see how it differs from myself.

Clearly you wouldn't like a game like Myst, eery. Sure, you'd get dragged in the story, but it's all graphics and story really. And some thinking.

I'll never not adamantly consider Myst IV (2004) to have best graphics ever (even though I know there's higher quality gfx, but for the best complete picture, consider this the best). They're pre-rendered, yet quite interactive. Also I love how you got advanced depth perception in the game too (if you point in the distance, things in front of you blur a bit).

I found an incredible deal on a computer (for me at least.)
My parents are gifting $500 to me for a PC as a grad present.
I found a PC I want but it's 1300.
Suddenly about a week after finding that computer, it's on sale for 770! Woah!
Then there is a special code to get it down to 720! Woah again!
F my parents pay the 500, then I pay 220 out of pocket.
Meaning 220 for a 1300 computer. Not bad

O.O $1300 is alot... I could buy a small boat for that kind of money... Maybe not in good condition, but still.
Is that what kids pay for their toys these days? :I

So anyway. I'm listening to Scooter - J'adore Hardcore, cause reasons, and I realise the melody is pretty much identical to Venetian Snares - Dance Like You're Selling Nails... And that's one of my fav melodies... So that was kinda wierd.
I don't know if that was a good or bad thing...

Toys cost less these days than 1300
This PC isn't a toy.
It's a tool.
It's going to be more of a work station than anything else.
3d rendering and music production are 2 main functions. Then school. I don't game a lot on PC because I also have a ps4 and a PS3 and soon a really cheap used 3ds so yea

I hope it just stays hiding and doesn't return... you get to a point where it's worth, either starting something different, or rebranding.

$1300 sounds about right for a 17" PC laptop, especially if it's got good RAM and CPU speed. Tack on more for a GPU and dedicated graphics RAM, which it will need if BAC plans to use it for any kind of graphics production. (Rendering could be fine on smaller computers, although it would take much longer and you would be basically unable to use the computer while it's working, and you wouldn't be able to view what you were about to render beforehand anyway.)

My new laptop has 8 GB RAM, with a 2.90 GHz Quad Core CPU, and there's no dedicated graphics processing. It cost upwards of $800, so as long as BAC's computer has the graphics processing, I think $1300 sounds reasonable, and $720 is a goddamn steal.

So my album is mostly in the mastering stage which is cool :) I have 3 tracks mastered and one ready to be mastered in a studio when I can get some time in it, because I'm going for an analog only approach to it. You can check it out here: https://essper.bandcamp.com/album/green-sky-blue-grass

Please allow me to describe my find:

16gb ram
Up to 4.0 ghz clock speed
4 core Intel i7
Nvidia GeForce gtx 745 4gb GPU
(I forgot then psu but it's 600+ W)
1tb storage
4 different video output ports
10 USB ports
Bluetooth enabled

Easily supports 4k resolution

This machine is most def worth the price.
