I sent joke blue about a million snap chats today while I was at school. He must have been sleeping or something since he lives literally half way around the world from me. So he didn't respond to any, I just sent a bunch for fun. Hopefully he found them amusing. :3

Does anyone else do things just out of random to amuse others?

Hahaha I was extremely amused man. And I was totally asleep. I woke up and my Ipod was like "6,000,000,000 snapchats from Nkriska." I sat there for three and a half years until they finally ended. And so, on that fateful morning, I vowed that one day I shall do the same.

Urggh, i hate to be that guy but maybe your expectations are a bit out of wack.... Making money doing music to the point where you can count on it as a steady stream of income is a pretty RARE thing. You're competing against people who are doing music for free, through their own bandcamps, or against others also looking to make it onto a label. Most labels unless they are ACTIVELY promoting your music are just taking half your profits or more for just a store front for you. As much as it would be nice to not have a job and just do music, don't plan on that being a reality unless you really fall in the top 10% of your peers and you're semi-popular already. Most people have a hard time finding success even doing it for free.

I've got to agree with what freewave said above, making money of your music is very hard and from what I know you're still in your early days of producing music.

Did you know that Wolfgang garter sent his music to labels for seven whole years before finally getting approved, he likely produced music for a long time before that too, so don't feel too bad about being rejected.

Oh god no they aren't THAT expensive. They're only expensive if you get clothes with them and they're $25 w/o regularly. They had a sale awhile back for $20 a piece and that's when i picked up the last 3. I also used gift certificates from my work (a perk from work) rather then my own money (hey i'm a cheap bastard).

I'm still on the fence about Smash for the 3DS. What I've seen of it is mildly disappointing. Not to mention I really can't stand the 3DS as a controller for Smash.

The main reason I'm getting it is so I can play with friends. I've heard online is really good. I've been playing the demo for a while now, and the controls are actually pretty tight, and the 3DS actually works well in controlling. But that's just me.

When I was at a convention I said out loud once "Wow... Bronies are weird!" to which someone replied "No, Bronies are Awesome!". I didn't know how to react to that, and I still don't. In my opinion bronies are weird as hell, but that's part of what makes us awesome, we do certain stuff cause it's awesome, even though it's weird.
Opinions? Are bronies weird?

Last night I found myself singing At The Gala and Winter Wrap Up quite loudly while playing the house remix versions in my truck. Some dude at a stop light have me a weird stare. Then started singing too.
This guy must have been at least 40. He was way over weight and his beard was beyond the classification of un-kept forest. Like, he was that stereotype that the Internet thinks of bronies.
I began to think bronies are weird.

Why is it that I can think it's cool for me to song along to this but it's weird when I see older people do the same?

Proving to yourself that you are self-confident feels cool. Thus you will feel cool when you break the social norm (which are basically rules) with confidence. However, when observing others breaking the your social expectations, the social norm for you, you will see that as weird.
I don't see weird as a problem though. I see things as weird all the time, and I know why I think they are weird. Because they defy my social expectations.
If you think about that next time you think something is weird you actually get a little exercise in open mindedness. You start to realise that everyone is actually a bit weird, the only question is what is the social norm, and how far outside of it are they. And that gives rise to another odd thought, you rarely see people who actually fit the social norm, but when you do it's weird, cause they are so normal... which makes them different... which is a weird thought...

I like weird stuff.
